All the interested persons should arrive in our country having a student visa.

This visa will be processed once the student is accepted by the academic area and sent to the Cuban embassy located in the country of the student.  It will be valid during 30 days after the arrival of the student in our country. If the studies require more than 30 days, this visa should be extended.

In an exceptional way, the interested ones could arrive in the country with a tourist visa. Once accepted by the academic area a member of our staff will only change it into student visa. In these cases the immigration authorities in the country reserve the right of their approval.

All the processes in relation with visas are done at the local immigration office. They all require a certain fee in stamps bought at a certain bank in CUC (Cuban Convertible Peso). To change from Tourist Visa to Student Visa: 40.00 CUC. To extend a Student Visa 25.00 CUC.
